Quick Word From the Nerds of Prey

A Brand New Site?! Why, YES!

A Brand New Site?! Why, YES!

Hello, friends!

We’re thrilled to premiere our new, sleeker blog! We want to grow along with our audience and one of the first steps in doing that, we feel, is giving our website the much-needed update it deserves. Hopefully you’ll find it easier to navigate or, at the very least, a little better to look at.

With a new look comes new content! We only record the show twice a month, meaning that we only get to talk about a fraction of the nerdy happenings that occur in real time. The website will be our chance to sound off on some of the other things in between episodes. So if you’ve ever thought to yourself, I wonder what the Nerds of Prey have to say about this, our hope is that  nerdsofpreypodcast.com can also serve as an answer to that!

With that said, we are four busy women. Writing for a site does take a bit of time and work, so providing a steady flow of posts/news/views is a huge undertaking for us. That’s why it’s important to grow support via our Patreon: we want to invite guest bloggers to the site each month to provide their needed perspectives, and we’d love to pay them for their time and labor. As of today, we’ve reached a third of our goal. Blame it on my bottomless well of confidence in what we do, but I know that we can reach the top someday.

Until then, we’re going to continue doing what we’ve been doing since January 2016: creating a space where all nerds feel seen, heard, accepted, and loved. We would not be where we are without each and every one of you. Thank you for listening to us, believing in us, and giving us the courage to speak freely about the things we care about. This is just the beginning.

Forward, y’all!

We love you,

Nerds of Prey
